Please join us every fourth Thursday in a community book club! Your voice is wanted!
The Vision for this book club is:
to open our minds to thinking in ways that may be new to us and that encourage polite discourse.
to read about topics that inspire a greater understanding of and compassion for ourselves and the diversity of the community around us.
to feel seen and heard for being uniquely ourselves within society.
We'll begin on February 22nd, 5-7 PM with Belonging, Remembering Ourselves Home by Toko-Pa Turner.
Pick up a copy of the monthly book at the bookstore of your choice. Ideally you'll come having read the entire book and have something to say. Questions and points to discuss will be provided, but your questions and points are encouraged.
Bring a journal if you like to take notes, but not necessary.
Purchase a Cacao drink or a treat to nibble from Maya Moon Collective. No outside food or drinks allowed, except water.
Capacity is capped at 10, so RSVP. We'll be sitting together in a designated area of the cafe.
