Meet the Artist: I think everyone is an artist in one form or another. The desire to create is in all of us. Whether it’s to create a child, a business, a painting, dance, music, and countless other ways…. We all have the desire to bring the inner landscape of the soul to the material physical world. We are all creators if only just creators of our internal world. Since creative expression can take so many forms, I myself have done everything from painting, singing jazz, becoming a singer/songwriter, playing piano and drums, writing, dancing, drawing and much more. There is no limit to what we can do when we see new things from a place of curiosity and a deep passion for learning. My painting journey has only recently begun last December but I have found such peace and expression in the feel of a brush between my fingers and taking my inner world and bringing it to life with colors. I am a creative intuitive: in each painting I do I find a sense of rightness in the colors and forms it takes. Knowing that each painting is an expression of not just my inner world but also a connection to everything around me. Painting for me has become a gateway to a deeper world of expression, clarity, peace, and connection to something greater than myself.

Note from the Artist: “My amazing 3 year old cat Leo got diagnosed with Mast Cell Cancer June 2023. Leo has been my travel buddy over the last few years doing everything from Sailing, hiking, road tripping around the US, and much more. I leash and harnessed trained him so we used to do walks around Balboa Park and all over the US as I traveled. When I got his diagnosis it was heart breaking. Because the tumor is right under his eye the treatment is very limited. As part of a last attempt to find a solution his is going into surgery this Friday to at least remove as much of the cancer as they can without taking his eye. He had to undergo a liver and spleen biopsy, ultrasound, and blood work to make sure the cancer hadn’t spread to the internal organs. That was a few thousand dollars from the Oncologist. Then the surgery itself is $3000-$3500. All donations will go directly to helping cover Leo’s medical bills. This is going to be a long process and I appreciate whatever help and support you can give.”
