Discover how to communicate with the natural world through this intuitive method of herbal medicine that engages the senses for a felt experience of the medicinal benefits of plants. This folk tradition of herbalism is centered around cultivating a relationship and listening to the wisdom of the natural world as a portal to understanding how plants can support us in all facets of our being, and how we can in turn support their ability to thrive alongside us.
Come join in playful learning, meditative medicine, pleasure for the senses, and the ever-unfolding wisdom of the plant kingdom as we learn about herbal medicine from direct experience paired with scientific findings. We'll be exploring non-psychoactive plants through various infusions, extracts, edible, and topical infusions - just to name a few!
Previous herbal medicine knowledge or experience is not necessary to attend. Bring a notebook and writing implement for notetaking, as well as a yoga mat, blanket, and cushion for sitting as you may wish to be upright or lay down during the plant meditation journeys.
About Corinne:
Corinne has over 400 hours of herbal medicine study over the last 8 years including a 2-year herbalism apprenticeship with The Gaia School of Healing and Earth Education in Vermont, and continued tutelage with Robin Rose Bennett, 7Song of the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, and NY's Open Center's Green Medicine Herbalism Training with Peeka Trenkle. Corinne has been teaching herbalism from an intuitive perspective since 2015 with workshops throughout the northeastern United States and in southern California as a way to build a relationship between humankind and the natural world through felt experience. She's a big proponent of feeling as a means to freedom after healing herself from Chronic Lyme Disease with energy work in 2012, which motivated her studies in multiple modalities geared towards personal growth and self-discovery, such as RoHun™ transpersonal psychology, intuitive channeling, and sound and energy healing. Corinne utilizes her multi-disciplinary study with one-on-one sessions to act as a mirror revealing the wisdom that's within you while looking closely at what has previously been obscured from view or concealed to find freedom, pleasure, and joy.
