The ELEMENTS art show is a reflection of the everyday beauty that we're constantly surrounded by; AIR, WATER, FIRE & EARTH. Hollie encourages the viewer of her art to thoughtfully consider what YOU can do, as a resident on the planet, to preserve these natural elements in your daily life?
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Hollie Joseph was born an artist, as the daughter of a painter, graphic designer and sculptor, Hollie was always creating from a very young age. Her Mom, Charlien, was the biggest supporter of her art and always encouraged Hollie to pursue an art degree, so she enrolled in art school at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. During Hollie's Junior year her Mom was diagnosed with a non-operable brain tumor and ultimately passed away 6 months later, leaving Hollie devastated and wondering what to do next without her Mom and mentor. Hollie took a couple years off from her education to figure out what was next. She decided to move to Chicago to finish her art degree at Columbia College Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Hollie became a Chef in restaurants in Chicago & Minneapolis. When she moved to San Diego 13 years ago she pursued a career as a Visual Stylist in high end retail stores & boutiques, utilizing her fashion sense and art degree. Over the years, Hollie has kept up with her art in different forms and late last year finally decided to create art for her first solo show ever, and here we are... The ELEMENTS art show was born!

Her Mom; Charlien for endless support over the years whom without her encouragement she wouldn't be an artist. Hollie feels her Mom with her in her art studio & in the kitchen, helping create all the magic with help from the other side and always sending Beatles songs to let her know she's close by.
Her amazing Husband & Soulmate; Bertram who is a constant cheerleader and overall amazing human who does everything with a smile. Thanks, babe! Love you the most!
